The nymph Daphne has been transformed into a tree. How does it feel to be a tree? Step into Daphne's consciousness. Stop, listen, sense. Can you hear Daphne breathing?
Dryade III: Daphnes Forvandling (translated: Dryad III: The Transformation of Daphne) is a tactile installation of textile experiments that seek to translate the feeling of human flesh and consciousness in the process of transforming into a tree.
The installation is shaped like a winding tunnel with light filtering through translucent fabric walls and catching on glittering glass beads and latex leaves.
It follows the transformation from human to nature and nature to human depending on which end you enter from.
The experience featured sound design of different forest soundscapes.  

Dryad III: Daphnes Forvandling was a part of ZeBU’s Christmas concept 24 Hemmeligheder.
